Abdelkader is untradable, hence we move onto Frans Nielsen incentivized with a pick and retaining 2.25M for remainder of contract.
Darren Helm also moved - retaining 1.5M and help with pick upgrade.
Jonathan Ericcson is buried on LTIR due to nagging injuries.
This leaves plenty of money to sign Duchene and Karlsson this summer. Also leaves more than enough the following summer once Green and Daley are off the books to pursue Trouba, Barrie, Faulk etc.
Will have enough cap to pay guys like Mantha and AA the raises they will command.

In closing, I don't think these moves will happen, just fun to play around with them and see what's physically possible. Byram is also me hoping the Wings land him, I believe he goes before 6th overall. Karlsson could command into 12M/yr if the right team wants to pay him. I think his injuries are worrisome. I do think Duchene is a solid add in the ~ 8 AAV range.
