I will confess to not know much about Pionk or Deangelo, but Pionk was only two years to keep him as RFA. And for Buchnevich it depends on how good you think he is. If you are only going to sign him for 1-3 years on a bridge what happens if he put up 70-80 points? Then you are looking at paying him 8-9 million. I think he has a ton of talent.

With these offers, you fail to sign your players. The players are worth somewhere in between both of your guys offers, maybe something like this

Deangelo: 2.40
Buch: 3.65

I think he was saying by how much I overpaid, not what they should be paid. But with buchnevich are you going to do a 1 year deal at 3.65? Why would he sign longer than one year if he thinks he can score 30-35 goals next year and demand 6-8 million?

nando eggenberger has to be up there for names, wasnt selected in 2018 draft, going back into the 2019 after a strong year in the OHL
