Firstly, in order to get Trouba as an RFA he'd need to be offer sheeted. WPG would match 5.5 for 6 years so there's that, and if they don't match that, then the bruins give up their 1st, 2nd, and 3rd picks to the Jets which you haven't accounted for or did not know you had to. Do the Bruins even own a 2nd round pick?

Bruins have Edmonton's 2017 2nd round pick. Unless Edmonton decides to give it to them this year, which is unlikely.

I don't see that deal coming true for Trouba. If Krug signs a 5 year deal it will have a NTC involved, and no chance he signs off on a deal to Winnipeg. The Bruins could still trade him but it would have to be before he is signed, or after he is signed to a short term deal that doesn't involve a NTC. At which point though, Winnipeg would basically be getting a Krug as a short term rental, as Krug would bolt from Winnipeg the second he becomes a UFA. Winnipeg would have to be blown away to agree to a deal for Trouba because of how long they have him under control as a RFA.
