At least give Gudbranson a chance. Hell people thought the same thing about the big rig. He turned out ok. It could be the system he played. The coaching. Some players do really well with a change of scene.
He hasn't even laced up yet.

I actually liked Oleksiak before he was traded to Pittsburgh because of his massive size. Its just a shame the Penguins had to get rid of him.

I agree, but he went out probably because of internal issues.

Too much passivity. They need some mean players. You can;t respond after a player is taken out. You have to be willing to be nasty before hand so people know there is a price to pay. He wasn't.
It's the way the game is unfortunately.

Yeah, that's a rather unfortunate thing. The problem I have with Gudbranson is his CORSI is awful.

Yes but players can change due to system, team, coaching.
I'm not saying he will turn into EK or something. The point is we don't know what we got yet. So I find it a little over reaction. At least let him put on skates and play 10-15 games.
My real problem with this team is the coach. I think A. players are sick of listening to him. B. He's not really clear what other players role are on this team. The just play hockey message really doesn't cut it when other teams are constantly trying to knock your players out. C. he's not changing the system when other teams have caught up.

You knew there was a problem in the philly game when Wilson got into a scrum in the 1st period. It was Wilson surrounded by 4 philly players and not a pen in sight.
That simply can't be the way it is. Sure as hell can't be that way on the 4th line. That's part of the coach, part of the GM for bringing in the wrong players, and part of the message being sent.

I like the idea behind bringing in Gudbranson, just not a fan of his salary. He is making double what Oleksiak is, and Oleksiak was also decent defensively but yet they trade him out and now trade for somebody with double the cap hit.
Not a big fan of Petterrsson if that is the contract they give him either, I think it would be more fair to get him on a 2-3 year deal for 2million or less.

Coach a problem? 2 cups 3 years. Aside from too much line juggling there's no reason to fire him. LOL. He is most definitely clear what players roles are on the team... at least from an outsiders perspective that's pretty evident. "Just play hockey" coming again from you hahaha, this isn't the 80's or 90's buddy, fighting/hitting isn't a key factor in this game anymore, you need speed and smarts 1-12 and 1-6, if you don't have 1 of those 2 things you're not equipped to play modern NHL hockey, fact. Why does the system need to change? Hell, if Murray had played better in the playoffs they probably had a chance at going 3 straight.. And who cares about an after the whistle scrum? Wilson could get jumped by 4 guys for all I care, he's expendable. Hockey is played whistle to whistle, and the real stars know that. There's A) no reason for anyone on the Pens to engage in that stuff, kill them with speed+on the scoreboard instead of pushing/shoving and chirps after the whistle, and B) I just can't even begin to fathom what goes on in your head when you're making these statements, it's like a monkey talking out of his ass. You legit have negative IQ when it comes to hockey knowledge, name a price and I'll pay it to ban you off this website forever, the world needs less ****s like you.

P.S, I'm happy that you were able to keep Nikita and Angello's dick out of your mouth in a post! Bravo!
