Before I get a bunch of comments/critics telling me im crazy just hear me out....

1. I love kreider and he's so valuable so I hope and think there is a good chance rangers resign him to long term deal to be unquestioned leader of this young squad with Mika
2. I know this is not the exact deal, there will be other picks involved and players/retained salary to makes salary cap work
3. Return is dependent on timing (as this has potential to be like McDonaugh trade last year at the very last minute)...as we get closer to deadline and certain western teams panic for playoffs (especially after Jets got Hayes and Stone eventually gets traded), someone will pony up for Kreider
4. I think Rangers only trade Kreider if they get there potential break out star such as tolvanen. If they don't do this, they go and grab panarin or wait 2 years for who ever is available then
