Reality is often disappointing. I have no faith in Dorion and Upper Management to get fair value on these guys. It's why OTT won't get Vesalainen, Tolvanen, or any other blue chip prospect for the big three.

The fact that these guys are heading to free agency, and also the fact that it is well known they are being shopped around is really lowering trade value IMO. Teams won't sacrifice their future for a guy who can just walk in 2 months. The only exception to this is a very good team wanting to add a critical piece for a cup run.

In that respect, I think Nashville and Winnipeg could be interested, but before they accept to give away a 1st and an elite prospect, they will wait for the deadline or just barely beat the next best offer. David Poile will NEVER offer that straight up.
