Point bridge deal is a fantasy .. stop the madness!! .. there is ZERO chance of Point bridge deal .. everyone points to Kuch deal .. that was 1. Years ago and Cap has increased and 2. POINT IS MATERIALLY ahead of Kuch when he was 22 .. why on earth would Point not grab the $10M market rate .. I shudder it maybe more .. now? Kuch took bridge because he bet he would be better in 3 years .. he won. AGAIN stop even discussing bridge deal .. it silly fantasy of Bolts fans. You should WANT a long term deal so you don't pay 15M in future anyway ... silly

Point is gunna get PAID! This kid is the real deal here. I'd predict 10.5+ for 5-6 years. I think the Matthews contract is the bench mark here.

I mean if Point really likes it in Tampa he might take a bridge, but it's very unlikely. If he signs a huge deal something is gonna have to give.

Dude, you need to chill man. Point and his agent have said they are open to a bridge deal, to a 5 year deal or to an 8 year deal. His agent says he loves playing in Tampa and wants to make it work. Depending on what happens with Callahan at the end of the year, a bridge deal may be the best approach for the Lightning.
