Before talking that way consider this, who does he replace? Do we move Tatar? Do we trade Shaw with salary retained?

I know Shaw is a good player, its just tough to find who he would replace.

Recency bias is pretty strong here too, which is fine, but its important to note future players.

Poehling Suzuki Brook Walford will all play in Laval next year. Maybe 1 of Poehling or Suzuki will play NHL. We dont have a spot for them yet. Panarin’s not signing in Mtl but Florida. It will be almost the same top9 next year

You make good points, I guess we'll just have to wait and see how they play, and see if Panarin signs there or not. Of course this is just an ideal 'dream' haha

Wait and enjoy the hockey they are giving us. We are no Tampa Winnipeg Nashville yet. Maybe in 3-4 years
