Is Nakladal anything more than a 3rd pairing D/ 2nd pp unit dman? For me it came down to him or Wotherspoon, I know Treliving was a fan of Nakladal but I gave the edge to the younger Wotherspoon. Bouma is a heart and soul guy, but because of his balls to the wall mentality, the guy can't stay healthy, I think CGY could move on from him. As for Reimer, could he get more? Absolutely, but not many teams are looking for a starter giving the Flames the leverage in this situation, however I wouldn't be shocked to see him get 4 mill.

i think they're giving up on wotherspoon, they can't keep signing him to cheep 1 year deals for him to keep letting us down. nak had a really good season so i wouldn'tbe surprised if he came back. i agree boums can't stay healthy but they shouldn't give up on him this soon. give him 1 more year and go from there. i think calgary will throw money at riems to come start. i'd say 4 years 4.5 per.
