Description

Let me start by saying this will never happen! But hypothetically Colorado wins the draft lottery with Ottawa’s pick and will select Jack Hughes. This would be an opportunity for the Avs to aquire his brother which would be pretty cool. Not to mention if Timmins heals from concussion issues then Colorado is pretty stacked on the Right Side and could use another LHD

Trade breakdown:

Makar = Q Hughes

Both are dynamic offensive defenseman.

Jost> Goldobin & Palmu

I would love for the Canucks to aquire Jost.. probably would take more and I know the Avs love him, but this is all hypothetical. The ability to aquire the next great American brothers is too appealing and they let the kid who played in the BCHL go back to B.C. in order to do so.

That's a hard pass from the avs...no disrespect to Hughes but Makar is a different animal compared to him.

I wouldn't do it. Nust hold on to every one for now. Canucks could have interest for someone like Barrie, if that is an option
