Description

Tampa sheds cap space for next season allowing them more room to re-sign guys. They also get a cheap d-man which they can use with the pending UFA d-men they have and they get a solid rental to try and make a cup run. Costs them two solid prospects though

As for Philly, I’m pretty sure taking on Callahan doesn’t harm them for next season. He’ll essentially be next years Jori Lehtera in terms of having a big cap hit and 1 year left but not actually playing unless he has to. They get two solid prospects which I chose purposely to potentially recreate the Soo line we saw in Juniors with Frost, Katchouck and Raddysh. They also create a much needed lineup spot on defense

Meh idk if for one that Simmonds is the answer for Tampa to win, two I believe in the offseason they're probably gonna trade Miller and/or Killorn and 3 probably just buyout Callahan who it won't be that bad to buyout, they'll get 3 something mil for next year and only cost them 1.5 mil for 2021.
