Ridiculous... we're in a position where we can go up. We're not heading down. Picks for young players are not stupid trades, especially if you keep some. Also, I took into account the fact that the players in which I picked were drafted in the same round as some of the picks I gave up. Yes, it is a bit radical, however, I feel that you must give up to get and I see that we'd benefit from these trades. As you can see, the defensive core I've setup is ridiculously good, for what cost, a couple of picks? Picking up Mathieu Joseph and Kapanen... young talents. Also, the teams I selected to trade with, ie Tampa and Toronto will be in cap hell in the next few years, therefore, we do them favours by taking off these young guys that need to be signed.
