He’s solid in the dot and can play on the PK, but that’s about it. Slow skater, no offensive instincts. Maybe a 13th forward for a playoff team

i don't think the speed should matter too much. When the pens had bonino he wasn't the fastest skater either, they Just need a defensive minded guy, who can PK, and win Faceoffs. brassard sadly isn't made for that role. which sucks because pens gave up a lot for him

That makes sense, but I think someone who has even an idea of what to do in the offensive zone would make sense. Sobotka just doesn’t seem to have a clue. Could just be a bad scoring slump but hasn’t shown much in Buffalo

He’s been everywhere. He’s had Evan Rodrigues for a bit and used Okposo, Thompson, and Sheary. Not like they are all awful. He’s on the wing now with Rodrigues in the middle and Pominville on the other side

Bonino was so damn good in the 2016 cup run, seriously thought he should've got Conn Smythe Trophy consideration.
