Kopitar thoughts

Description
I know that Kopitar and Price would have to waive their NMC clause for this move to happen. With Primeau in the pipeline it would be ideal to take back Quick since his contract is up in 4 yrs after this 1. With Poehling in the pipeline also I'd eventually move Domi to LW whenever/if he makes the team.

4.8 mill for 2 more yrs is decent for a 25 goal 20 assist player. And he's on pace for 60 this yr.

Nope. I'm trading Price for Kopitar and Suzuki+ Tatar for Quick.

Suzuki+Tatar weren't even enough for Pacioretty, who scored under 40 points last season, VGK had to add 2nd. If you even suggest that Pacioretty has more value than Quick, you really are suffering a bad case of homerism...

Like I said, average player. Still not even remotely close to getting Kopitar and Quick. MTL needs to add a lot more for your proposal

Everyone was saying that Pacioretty is worth an established 1st line C, a top prospect and a pick. Personally I never believed Habs will ever get that return.

Quick will also never fetch what you think he's worth. He's often injured as of the last 3 seasons, 33 yrs old, and he played on stacked teams when they were good, while also deploying a very defensive system.

Now that they're crap his numbers are crap. Jack Campbell is putting up Vezina numbers and he's playing for the same team, and Quick is near the bottom in league stats. Even Suzuki for Quick straight up is a more than enough.

Lol!! Oh no not the ratings scream ...from people that I don't share the same opinion with. I really should start posting trades that people want to see so I can boost my ratings then. I need get the approval and validation from commoners who are not in any way involved with pro hockey.

That's pretty much what the ACGM's are for. Common people expressing their opinions, usually based with some logic. And based on your ratings, your posts lacks it - or you're the only person that understands it, to be precise.

Lol you're not a common person. You're a little snake, you go out of your way in alot of my posts to be the 1st to comment and you constantly boycott me by always 1 star rating. If you always 1 star me, no ****e my average rating will drop. I find it pretty creepy how much time you spend on this site. Get a life loser.

Someone's getting a tad personal.

I can certainly say that you are not any sort of target on giving bad ratings, nor am I the only one giving you them.

Maybe you should take a chill.

You say I'm not logical. You're certainly aren't either and all these ours I've been waiting for someone to bring up the most logical reason to why LA would nix this deal. Cause they got Cal Petersen in the pipeline ready to take over Quick. I never believed for a second that Suzuki for Quick is a fair deal, I was trolling you just like you like to troll. But instead of ignoring me, you just had to turn it up up a notch and call me out on my alleged lack of knowledge. You don't have integrity but I do, so naturaly I'll bite back.

To be fair, what I said was that I don't understand your logic. And commonly neither does other people, hence the ratings.

I don't really think I've been trolling you at all. I just don't understand the base of your logic. Kopitar was 90-point forward last season, Quick is a former Vezina-winning goalie, that is injury prone as of now. I don't see LA trading these kind of assets for Price, who is probably the most overpaid player in this league, and for Tatar+Suzuki, who just doesn't cut it. MTL was very lucky to get that kind of return for Pacioretty, but if you ask me, they are not even close enough for Quick.

He cracks 80+ points for the 2nd time in his career at 31, and you think he just entered his prime yrs? This yr he's on pace for 55 and all the sudden teams are gonna give the farm and take on his 10 mill contract with open arms. I hope you're not betting on him exploding with 60 pts in the 2nd half especially when teams tighten their game. I can argue that he's as overpaid as Price which he also is a vezina trophy winner and not even close to having a team infront of him like Kings when Quick won his. You see my logic. This convo has gone stale.
