Well i don't hate it. Cant see the Rangers being ok with that trade. Killorn and Gourde on the move makes sense over Miller. But have you looked at the following year with this base? Be curious to see what you do in year 3. Feel like that Artemi contract could be costly.

Following year could be the year to trade Johnson. Namestnikov would come off the books as well. Thats 7 mill right there. Give 4 more to Vasy (7.5 aav) and 2.6 to Sergachev (3.5 aav). van Reimsdyk would also then come off which opens up even more. Definitely possible, would just be tough.
