That's a terrible trade for the Flyers, even with getting Stone. Also, no chance Farabee & O' Brien leave school after 1 season.

That's not a terrible at all. Simmonds probably doesn't re-sign anyways and hes over 30. The 1st probably wont be high with Stone there and another lottery player on the team in 2019. Andy gives them a solid goalie who can split games with Hart. Boedker at 2 million is great, he can play the 3rd line really well. The only thing you give is Myers whos a good prospect and probably an 18-24 pick and you get rid of Macdonald

They don't need anymore $2M 3rd line guys. There's a reason Raffl, Weise, Weal, etc are gone after their deals expire. And giving up Myers to get rid of MacDonald is stupid when there's only 1 year left on his contract and you can just go sign Stone as a UFA in July.
