Gotta believe that too much $ for Scheifele and Trouba but agree that the Jets don't have to do anything major to their lineup.

Don't think Kyle Connor is ready? I'd prefer to see Armia getting icetime over Thorburn and Peluso. If Jets run with Hellybuyck and Pavelec, they will have to trade Hutchinson as he will not clear waivers and they would not want to lose him without return. I have a distinct preference to try to move Pavelec's contract.

Trouba was asking for 6.5/6 so I figured that would be possible. He's good, and so is Scheifele, hence the large contracts.

Pavelec only has one year left, so he could just be traded at the deadline or simply let go at the end of the season. I think you would rather keep Pavelec if only if he were to be a somewhat mentor Hellebuyck. (I know Pav isn't good, but he has experience that Hellebuyck doesn't have)

Kyle Connor could just play in AHL (is he eligible?/call up for injury)) or College. I didn't want to give him just 4th line time rather than 1st line time somewhere else.
