Couts lacked any help playing as the 2C before Giroux shifted to his wing. He's a fantastic two-way center and put up career numbers last season. He's slowed down points-wise this season, yes, but his defensive game is improving and is enough to make him better than a Kuzy or Eichel

Eye test is prone to bias. Using analytics is a much more reliable way to evaluate players rather than just watching. You have to use both, I would say 70/30 for analytics.

KANE DRIVES PLAYS. He plays with Toews who's slipping and puts up elite numbers. Rantanen is carried by how good MacK is alone. Kane is the equivalent to a MacK on our first line because he is the one that makes thing happen and doesnt have the other players as good as Landy/Rants
