    Maybe so, but in free agency there is a lot of good ways to spend 6m without giving up a first rounder.

    Major, major overpayment for Drouin ! Take one of the 1st ( probably 2018 based on TBL's prospect pipeline) and use it to sweeten the Plekenec deal. Probably still too much for Drouin. The 3rd line is CHL size.

    Yeah, you're right ! Goofed there, and looking again at that Plek trade, it is not so bad as the Nashville pick will be a late one. So, just put a couple of those draft picks back in your pocket.
