I like the intention and Philly does need RHD. Hate to lose both Connor and Trouba. With Trouba willing to play the left side I would rather have him than Provorov. Is couturier that much better than Connor? Would you accept a straight up trade of Connor for Couturier? Definitely an opportunity to move a RHD for a LHD there, just not sure about raising the stakes.

Good trade, good team. I look at it as; Couturier for Trouba = pretty even, Provorov for Connor = pretty even. There may need to be a draft pick thrown one way or another depending on which team is pushing for the deal, but the base of it makes sense.

I really like that 6 year contract for Couturier.

IDK, Couturier isn't even a 40 point player and is kinda slow. With Ladd gone and Stafford out next year, the young wingers will have plenty of opportunity.

Nice lineup, and finally a trade that works for both teams and fills need for both. PHI has plethora of LHD but no RHD, WPG has plethora of RHD but no LHD.
Courtier could be just what WPG needs to be successful in the central, a top end defensive center man who can shut down other teams top offensive lines.
Only isssue I could see is who does PHI get to fill in the 2nd line center? Is Raffl ready?

Schenn back to centre. Giroux and Schenn down the middle. Simmonds and Voracek on the right wing and Connor and Raffl/Read on the left wing.

Couturier is an extremely underrated player. he hasnt quite broken out offensively but he will get votes for the selke and he will win one in the future.

Provorov is one of the best defensive prospects in the world and is going to make Russia competitive at the highest level again. I would much rather have the left handed Provorov than the underacheiving right shot Trouba but thats just my opinion.

Kyle Connor is a facsimile of a Blake Wheeler. Too much to give up on too early.
Couturier is touted to have already reached his offensive ability. Slotting in as a great option for a shutdown 3rd line centre on a good team though 4.3M bit expensive. Little has higher offensive vision and puck distribution ability (setup potential for Laine much higher with Little). Little also has played consistently against every teams best players every season definitely being under rated here. Lowry is already being groomed as shutdown defender. Good player though just not as much of a fit as a distributor, plays more of a a drive to the net game. Not a fit with Jets as I see it. This will raise the ire of the Couturier over Scheifele lovers circa draft... Just saying his fit in the Jets organization is being covered.
Watching Provorov play very talented smart with puck, good out options, little scrambly in his end though has carried his defensive partner in their end. Another too long of stick defence an... Ahhh Enstrom lol.
