Would be protected imo. Sergachev, Hedman, Cernak and McDonagh are 4 Ds (Foote would be safe possibly, or there woudl be a deal making sure nobody picks them) and Kucherov, Stammer, Point and whoever would be the best other forward would be protected.

Only NMC have to be protected which are Stamkos, Kuch and Hedman. It is a long way off but Foote, Volkov and others in the NHL have to be considered. Seattle will get a very good player but only one.

Excuse my ignorance but when is Seattle drafting? .. 2021? .. why is this relevant now? .. TJ is from Washington state and he HIGHLY likely to be dealt in exchange for Seattle agreeing not to take a Bolt player .. recall you can make deals or give draft picks not to take players also .. immediate need is to move 2 contracts asap to sign Point and Vas .. i like cernik and hopefully Foote will be here soon .. then the Tampa dynasty has another clear 5 year window as we in year 5 now ..just need to get over hump
