I like the idea of getting someone like Pietrangelo on our blue line, but I can't see St. Louis trading to a division rival.

Acquiring Pietrangelo would be nice, but it would cause a big problem - we'd have to leave Lindell unprotected in the expansion draft...and considering how good he has been...we'd be the losers in a move like this.

I don't think DAL is in a position for acquiring a TOP4 D right now - especially if the D has a NMC - which will most likely be a part of Pietrangelo's next contract.
