Mode - plafond salarial: Basique

Description

Get younger forward depth with key signings to begin to supplement the young defensemen coming up the pipeline.
-Stone gives you that 2-way forward to give the forwards some defensive presence, helping out the young defensemen coming up
-Dzingel gives you a 2C/3C to pair with Strome however you want to mix that 2nd and 3rd line, and is again young talent to help build the pipeline
-Give Mitchell & Boqvist the shot to make the team next year. Wouldn't be surprised if both do, but if one needs more work in the AHL/Juniors then you can sign a 5/6 defenseman (or use someone like Hillman) for the year
-Fire Manning into the sun the quickest way possible
-This still give you options for Goalie in 20/21, as well as the flexibility to sign DeBrincat

Good lines and roster. Murphy in my opinion is garbage and a waste of money. Ian Mitchell needs to play and that backup goalie is not nhl ready. If I were u is keep my eye on alexis gravel. He might be really good.

Nalimov won't be ready yet, sign Delia to a 1 year prove it deal. Over payment for Dzingel, he's $3.5 to $4.25m max depending on term. 4 years would be under $4M, likely $3.85M....also he's a Chicago native so keep in mind he will give up a little to play in Chicago. Stone is an overypayment; he will likely be a $7.5M x 6 year deal. That said, you have another $2M towards cap space.

Overall nice ideas.

Thanks for the thoughts.
-I do have Delia signed 2/900k, and was splitting hairs between which is up & down. I left Delia in Rockford as that gets him more playing time but I think either works.
-Dzingel probably is an overpayment, but I feel like a 26 year UFA will be overpaid. Same deal with Stone, who has a 7.35 million contract already; at 26 years old, think he's getting 8-9.
