      why would the Flames give up a 6th overall pick in a quality draft for a goalie when they can get one almost just as good for free in free agency? or do you mean their conditional 1st from Dallas?

      they are not getting a goalie anywhere near as good as Bob in FA but there are other goalies that are as good, on teams that are willing to move them(Andersen, Fleury, Bishop) Expansion draft plays a factor too. and why would CBJ want to move Bob anyways. I dont think Korpisalo is ready for a starting gig.

      Goalies are difficult to get fair value with when trading, considering the market for goalies is always pretty limited. Doubt bobs gets the 6th overall pick.

      Throw in a prospect , a future draft pick and then add goalie bob
      then it would be worth 6th overall

      Yes the #6 pick. I think he is worth that. 3 years left on his contract & could be in his peak. Calgary needs major help in goal & we need relief of his cap. We way over paid. I think Korpisalo is ready with the help of Mac.

      That's fine watkinswarrior2. I would do a late pick & some prospect are untouchable.
