Mode - plafond salarial: Basique

Description

Leafs with Nylander and gardiner. Traded connor brown as he is overpaid for a 4th liner with limited production. He lost his job to Kapanen. I am not sure if the LTIR works here but the dollars will work if the cap goes to predicted value with new gambling dollars and the inflation accelerator. If gadiner signing is unrealistic then either get rid of zaitzev or do not resign Gardiner. For all of you AGM that want to get rid of Nylander, Think Chiarelli getting rid of elite wingers. Seguin, Hall, Eberle what did they get in return. Next to nothing as no one trades elite players for elite players. If dollars are too low for AM and MM then leafs will never win cup as they will be a top heavy team with no supporting cast. Inability to sign players to compliment your stars are a recipe for mediocracy, as Maple Leaf fans we all know how it feels to be close but never close enough.

If Marner and Matthews want to win a cup they will have to take less than top dollar. I think that they both are driven to be the best and to be the best you have to win Stanley cups. Tavares is a prime example of an elite hockey player that wants to win a cup. He left over 2 million a year to sign with the leafs instead of San Jose. Just saying, if the goal is to win cups then they should take a little less.
