last I heard Juolevi was leading the AHL in points by a defenseman. not bad for a rookie. Gudbranson has been playing great hockey too. He had a 5 game point streak recently.

So are all young elite players supposed to roll over and take way under market contracts because fans will get mad if they look after themselves. Grow up, these aren't just hockey players, they are adults and people looking out for themselves. I support Nylander in this but hope it all gets worked out by the 30th. Then I'll enjoy watching him score 60 points this season in 60 games and make everyone who doubted him look like an idiot.

good luck. at this point I'd say Nylander has a better chance scoring 60 points in 60 games in the KHL than he does in a Leafs Jersey.
