Description
Not sure about the trade value wise. Seems fair, tampa may want a centre to replace some of stamkos production, only with a couple years left to not hamstring their cap situation while remaining competitive. The looming expansion draft causes them to make the move, assuming they plan to resign bishop. The swap of picks is to balance out the value. Leafs get Stamkos at a discount rate due to injuries/desire to play in Toronto, but that might be a little stretch. The forwards are young and upcoming, Lupul gets the Robidas treatment to let the kids play. Focus on fixing the defence during the next offseason when laich/greening/michalek/bernier/robidas/lupul? all come off the books.

I really like it!
Only comment might be that Leafs desperately need to add at least one Top 4 D, particularly strong defensively. Demers, Goligoski are two UFA's that come to mind that would fit and be Babcock types.

I could see them asking lupul but it's really up to lupul if he wants to do it. Robidas had to agree to this and more or less is ready to retire I don't know if lupul is. It's more likely that he is sent to the minors next year.
