Description

Simmonds would fill Boston's need at 2nd line center. Hopefully they could unload Backes in the process.

Maybe I'm undervaluing Simmonds though and PHI might be crazy to take Backes.

Backes has negative value. If the Bruins sweeten the pot, Philly maybe takes it. By sweetening the pot I'm thinking you add Lauzon or Donato in the trade, that's how bad Backes is.

Makes sense. I wouldn't consider trading Donato, but maybe Lauzon would do it.
