Description

Not sure if that is enough for KS, but NYR probably would like to move on from him but what do i know.
KS has a large contract so they will need to retain something I assume, if not, NYR would need to take on another player...Montaya or Benning or this new back up goalie(woof) maybe.

EDM gets that PP Dman they need, NYR gets a top 9 F, a good D prospect(would give Bear instead if wanted), and a some earlyish picks.

If we are retaining salary i would say Bear and a first round pick would be a buy low moment for the rangers right now--

Any thoughts on

Drai + Bear for Zibanejad and Shatty (w/ retained)? rangers may have to add here but i'm not sure of how much

I like the trade but it is so hard to predict Drai's value.
He shows elite play making ability but that only happens here and there. I think he is a #1 Center on alot of teams, but he happens to be playing behind the #1 C in the NHL right now.
but i personally like that trade as long as NYR retains some salary on KS but Chai is actually dumb and would probably give NYR a 1st as well.

yup, you are probably correct.
I just wonder if he values winning or rebuilding. I am not saying edmonton is a winning team but they are missing a few holes and he would meet some of those needs. still more questions then answers in edmonton at the moment

it's a limited NTC, he only has 10 teams he can refuse a trade to
