I might gain some cap space in other areas when I make some more trades. But I've kept you waiting for a bit, so I think I'll just bite the bullet and do this... if I may offer an alternate option first.
While you wouldn't do a 2019 2nd, would you do a 2021 one? It was just something that I thought of; I don't know whether a 2021 2nd or 2019 3rd would be more palatable to me at this point. But what do you think?

I'd prefer the original, but I'm okay with that alternative.
I'll leave it to you, and I'd like this done tonight so I can move on.
Alzner + 3rd (MTL - 2019) + 7th (MTL - 2019) for Dowd
Or
Alzner + 2nd (MTL - 2021) + 7th (MTL - 2019) for Dowd
If you want to pick one and post it, I'll accept either.
Looks like someone needs cap space. I'll take Mcquaid for a small price
Nah, I think I can make it. And even if McQuaid wasn't back in the lineup and performing well, I would not pay to get rid of a one-year dump. I would, however, pay you to take Alzner (though if I paid more than Rico, that'd be terrible GMing).
I don't know what you'd pay for him, but I'll listen.
I think it's more about what you'd want/need as a return that determines what I'll pay.
Would you move him simply to free up cap space, meaning prospect/pick OR would you need a tangible roster player back in any deal.
Can I wait just a little? I have only one more December trade and want to use it on something else, if possible. (If that "something else" doesn't happen, then we can do it right away. Otherwise, it'll have to wait until January, if that's okay with you.)
