small trades with TML, EDM, CBJ, WAS, CHI, and VAN improving the bottom six.

Créé par: GMTD
Équipe: 2018-19 Sabres de Buffalo

Description
Huge upgrade of the bottom six and pick up a RHD. Best case scenario unless Betterall could make another trade similar to the Skinner deal.
Baptiste and Bailey are traded so they are not lost for nothing in the waiver draft. Guhle needs more playing time and will be called up if any of the top 6 falter or if there is an injury. Nelson stays with the club because he is sure to be picked up in the waiver draft if he is sent to Rochester.

Borgen and malone are in our future. We already have berglund, why do we need anisimov?

This looks great for every team involved, except the Sabres.

Thank you all for your feed back. there were a lot of little trades and I appreciate your comments. Betterall has made a lot of little trades that have greatly improved the team, I hope he can continue.

Thank you for your opinion. You may very well be correct. I have looked at the Sabre prospects and I sort of ranked them in this fashion (with the help of Dobber Prospects https://dobberprospects.com/team/buffalo-sabres/)
Rasmus Dahlin
Casey Mittelstadt
Alexander Nylander
Linus Ullmark
Evan Rodrigues
Brendan Guhle
Tage Thompson
Rasmus Asplund
Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen
Nicholas Baptiste
Justin Bailey
Casey Nelson
Lawrence Pilut
Victor Olofsson
Mattias Samuelsson
Jacob Bryson
Brandon Hickey
Matej Pekar
Marcus Davidsson
Connor Hurley
Will Borgen
Sean Malone
If you are correct about them being the future of the Sabres, then there are a lot of future NHL top 6 and top pairing prospects in our system. I hope you are correct.

Again thank you for your comment. You may be correct, maybe I am misjudging the capabilities of Anisimov and Connolly but IMHO they are a bit better than Sobotka and Wilson.

Again thank you for your comment, yup you are correct. I will need to look elsewhere for a RHD. I was thinking about the Sabre's needs and I ignored Vancouver's.

The Blackhawks organizational depth at RHD (Boqvist, Jokiharu) makes prospects in that position less valuable in a trade. Besides, Anisimov is a known commodity and shores up Chicagos overall center depth. Until it is clear one of the kids can take his role he doesn't need to be moved.

Now, if Chicago starts horribly and isn't even the wild card conversation after the New Year Anisimov could be dealt.

Not a bad effort though. GLHF

Thank you very much for your comment. You have provided a tremendous amount of information. With the information you provided, Hickey, Pilut or Samuelsson (all LHD) could be a possible prospect.
