I mean look at what I wrote, it’s not fair but Rust+ isn’t cutting it for a 3C. Pens have no other piece worth the prIce. It just doesn’t fit as a trade.

Right it's not about what is perceived as market value or what a 'fair' offer is, Janmark is just a fan favorite and is really important to the team.
He can get labeled as a 3rd line center but he's a really good all around player and can play up and down the lineup.
I'm sure just like fans of all teams who overvalue their players DAL fans overvalue Janmark, but it's not like he's a scrap who's worth worth a 3rd round pick

I haven't really been on the site in a while, but I know you said you saw DAL fans have been trading him, but was that involved in deals for Karlsson or other studs? In those situations I can see them trading him just for the sake of adding a superstar, but otherwise I'm kind of surprised they would be so quick to trade him haha
