looks good to me, only change is jarry will probably start in AHL. Other than that everything is fine.

The more I see it the more I think Grant, Sheahan, Hayes is the bottom line. With ZAR as the 13th guy cullen as the 14th

so then simon just disappears? only way all three of grant/hayes/ZAR makes the opening roster is if somebody on the team(and without options) is gotten rid of.

Simon been an AHL player for some time. 33 games last year is his only real NHL action, he came up with 12 points, most of it on Crosby's line. I wish I could say he's the next Guentzel, but he's not. He's more like a conner Sheary, as in take him away from Crosby and the production totally disappears. He's really not a 4th line type player willing to be physical. There aren't really any roles in the top 3 lines. When you realize he doesn't really fit in anywhere you end up trading him or sending him back down.

I could be wrong but I didn't think he could be sent back down(based on contract), that combined with the other reasons why you named is why I think he should start the season as an extra only getting action if somebody(primarily sprong in mind) really struggles(for an extended amount of time) or if somebody gets hurt. If they could get much of a return in a trade I wouldn't mind that option at all either.
