Good job one of the few reasonable Oiler fans. Lucic is going to cost a first to move and you get nothing back.

I don’t think it’s reasonable to assume Russell and Lucic accept these trades. Russell is an Alberta boy, playing out his last NHL contract. Lucic has a young family, and the rigamoral associated with a separate practice facility and an eventual move to a new arena may complicate his ability to locate a good place to live.

They would be going to the New York area. Russell maybe stays but Lucic has been a disaster and needs a change of scenery.
