Switching Gardiner to right side is a solution? Jake gets confused enough playing the left side, a position he had played for years. Just don't think he could adjust to the right side.
IMO Dermot might go to right side this year.

Well it could be Rielly that plays the right but, what I'm trying to say is that when paired together over their careers, Rielly and Gardiner have posted elite possession numbers.

I think fans sometimes overrate the "handiness" of a player. Might be more important to get your six best Dmen playing. The reason I mention Dermot (and you mentioned Reilly) is that maybe Borgman makes the team as a top six.

I like either Dermott or Reilly on the right. Preferably Dermott he was good there on the Marlies most recently. Palhal you seem to like borgman a lot. I’m okay with him not so much carrick not that he’s bad just blah. What do you think the odds are that Ozhiganov can get a spot either in camp or throughout the season this year?

I think Borgman and Ozhiganov should be above Carrick on the depth chart. As Jamiepo said, Carrick isn’t bad just blah.

Hi Jamiepo, I've had trouble staying connected to the internet. Quite a thunder and lightning storm this evening.
You asked. Borgman. I liked him last year as Leaf. Leafs sent him to Marlies to play harder minutes especially on the PK. He played well. Too bad he was injured in game 2 of the playoffs. Without Polak and maybe Carrick gone, he could be a Leafs IMO. Ozhiganov, I think the Leafs are really counting on him to be an NHLer this season. He might start with the Marlies to learn the smaller ice surface.

I think Borgman plays a steady game, I was pretty surprised by that when he first came up. I’m hoping that Hainsey gets shifted back to the left side. It seams we always go back to safe and simple. I think we need to see what Rosen and borgman can do and unless there’s an injury I don’t see any reason why Dermott doesn’t play 82. Are we going to shift a player to the right... ugghh probably not. With Gardiner and Hainsey gone next season would be comforting to know that we have the 3 spots covered. 1 on the left and two on the right. I’m assuming that for 19/20 that liljegren is good to go so we need 2 solid nhlr’s one on the left and one on the right. Think between Rosen and borgman we have the left cover so fingers crossed that Ozhiganov is at least half as good as I hope.
