Description

Not the TDL yet either. I would love for the kids to come in and get meaningful NHL time but I also think having them tear it up in the AHL is more beneficial at this stage. At least until Christmas or even the TDL.

I'd be very surprised to see DeAngelo as the 7th this year. Assume he would stick on the third pairing as he was a major part of Arizona trade and hasn't been given his shot yet.

I agree. I am giving Smith the benefit of the doubt though. I think DeAngelo has to really wow Quinn in order to be playing. It's Smith spot to lose I think.

I'd say it's more likely that Claesson is the odd man out. Smith could slot in at the 3 LD position and play alongside DeAngelo.

I'd rather have Claesson tbh than both Smith and ADA. Unless Smith is playing like 2016 playoff Smith of course.
