I don't think that trade is going to land the Devils Trouba, and if it does, I am not sure he's the type of character player the Devils want (I am basing this entirely on his pretty consistent contract disputes in WPG).

Severson is not coming off his best season, and Quenneville has little to no NHL experience. Crazier trades have happened, but this one doesn't seem to be an even swap to me.

Also, I would love it if Anderson plays well enough to earn a top 6 spot, but I think it's more likely that he and Bratt are switched in this lineup (provided we see the same Bratt we saw early last season)

That's the question with Bratt. I know everybody is high on Anderson, so I stuck him there. As for the trade, a Jets fan proposed it and I ran with it.

Anderson's best ability is he can typically play up and down the lineup, so hopefully that translates well into the NHL, which would benefit the team in desperate need of RWs.

As for the trade, it's not far off, and I could see WPG wanting to have a defenseman locked up long term like Severson is, I just see Trouba not fitting the mold of a Hynes/Shero Devil (team first).

I like this team on paper, though, and am hoping to see guys like McLeod, Bastian, and Speers making pushes for these roster spots in a few weeks
