That's a pretty sick defense

I would love to see a tournament where every province has a team, split the states up into equal teams based on area and then Europe have teams. Have the winners play each other in a Memorial Cup style finish.

So, winning province goes to final. Winning "state"/area goes to final and best Europe team goes to final. Then they battle out a mini tourney to see who is the best. Could be something new and refreshing.

Great idea but wouldn't be very competitive as Ontario would completely dominate. Most of the US states would be dreadful too better to divide it up by regions for both countries.

Ontario and BC. Keep in mind the best players on the planet are arguably elsewhere. Top line of Mackinnon, Crosby and Marchand would be pretty scary. But, it would still be entertaining.
