Description

Carolina does not like their goalies, they are stacked on the right. I think the Leafs could give Sparks as a possible starter over Darling, especially if Mrazek struggles.

I also think that 3 3rd round picks could be deadline ammunition, or we keep drafting and have 3 shots at another player 3 years later. Draft picks are so important to keep the farm going and to have players coming in and making a difference with the franchise.

The Oilers need wingers, Brown is cheap and has actually had a great track record with McDavid. (see Erie Otters) Also, I believe if Marleau retires, then Brown will not be traded. However, I believe that Kap, Johnsson, Bracco have higher skill than Brownie. I do not want to trade him, but a 5th round picks on the 4th line for a 3rd pick. Pretty good. I think a line of RNH-McDavid-Brown would not be overly expensive, but Brown can play with good players and has done so before.

Solid point so maybe it is a goalie and the possibly a brown or kapanen yo give the hurricanes a better scoring punch. Arguably it got worse bringing in Ferland and sending Lindholm. A Brown would certainly be able to make plays with the #2 pick Svechnikov or an Aho.
