Yeah, the 1st for Plek isn't realistic, I doubt Detroit even has the cap space for that, and they don't throw away their firsts like that for an aging centre. Arizona trade is also a head scratcher, You really thing they would give up a 2nd for desharnias? Why would they even want him and his dead cap? and on top of that why would they give up a pretty good pick too? If they want a 3/4 centreman for over 3 million they have free agency where they don't have to give up anything.

The Yak trade is ok though, pretty balanced and fair for both teams.

Maybe, but Detroit isn't a team that deals away 1st rounders like that. They're all about drafting well and drafting smart, I don't think they would deal away their best chance of picking a good hockey player. A pretty good prospect might end up where they're drafting like Larkin.
