Before everyone lampoons this... I'm just trying to get a sense for where folks gauge the value of these prospects and who could be exchanged to make a deal like this work.

My first thoughts are that Glass and Hague are extremely valuable prospects, so maybe swapping one of them out for a lesser prospect would be more realistic.

Next is the move for Karlsson. Clearly he is a top tier player, requiring a ton in return, but this package being sent over from Pittsburgh is pretty substantial.

Seems like a lot.

Of course Pitt would need to ensure Karlsson would resign with them to move all of this, and that would be possible. If the cap increased by even 2 million next season they would have enough space to sign Guentzal at 5 million and extend Karlsson at at least 10M.
