Weber will be on LTIR, He's probably going to miss half of the season.

can't see the Leafs giving up a 1st. 2nd and a prospect for Petry. Nothing against Petry just a bit of an over payment, might being giving a little to unload Horton but there is no need right now as he can be placed on the LTIR, and his uninsured contract does not matter the MLSE

It will have to be done for 2019-2020 season. I forgot to write that this was a trade deadline deal.

Adding petry and shedding Horton does help the leafs but giving up that first would be tough since petry is older. Not a terrible trade though.

Petry will worth a first round anyway at the trade deadline. Especially with a salary retainer. That is why a low profile prospect and a 2nd round adds up for Norton contract which will be a primary objective for 2019-2020 when Mathews will sign is contract.

Everything looks okay, you can’t just LTIR Shaw though.

It is difficult to manage timing on this site. But you are right that he will have to come back somewhere in November. But this doesn't change the whole picture. Mtl doesn't have cap issues.

Dallas traded away Benn for a reason. HaBS fans really gotta stop trYong to trade their trash bashould players back to their old team.

Washington probably says no cause I think they are really high on Burakovsky and don't want to give him up for a bottom pairing D that won't help them win again and a forward that has management issues.

Edmonton is a nothing trade really. 2 veterans that are nothing for a mid round pick and an unproven prospect.

Now Toronto... lol Leafs aren't trading both picks AND Rasenen for Petry just to trade Hortons contract. We have plenty of cap space this year where we can pay bonuses and keep Horton off LTIR. Easy no from Dubas.
