What crazy is the fact that there are better players that can be put on here(ELC not included)

So true.....I'd say there are 5-6 players who don't belong here....

If we're considering Giroux to be a winger now, him and Doughty should be on this list

yep, you have the top player in the game not there(Crosby), you have one of the best defenseman in the league(karlsson) not on there(although he is in the last year of his deal so he will cash in). being two of the most notable guys not on here. The reason for that though is about a dozen of these guys either just had their extension/signing kick in this year or it just kicked in last year.

By my count 9 of these guys didn't make the playoffs last year....let that sink in....wow..
