I don't think Philly would make this trade. GM Ron Hextal wouldn't give up Sanheim. He's expressed that he isn't interested in giving up prospects/young guys. He also mentioned that he'd only trade Simmonds for a first round pick, and was very clear about it. However, he would give up Neuvirth probably if the return was good enough. I don't know if he'd give up the 2nd-round pick, I guess it would depend on the trade and what players are coming up in the draft.

Sanhiem is two years younger than Trouba so that's not an issue. Appleton was the AHL rookie of the year last year so that is a decent return for Simmonds....the others make the trade happen

Trouba's either going home to Detroit, Or coming here to Florida. You can bank on that.
