If Panarin was willing to sign an extension I'd take that deal in a minute for SJS. Also pretty good value for CBJ considering Panarin has made it known he doesn't want to resign.

I already think Panarin has his list of like 4 teams to choose from. NYR, NYI, LAK, NJD. Other than that good luck, he's not gonna want to stick around. San Josa ain't much better than playing in columbus. He wants to be somewhere that is model gf can find work. That ain't SJ

According to an interview with Panarin's agent Milstein on the Athletic a little over a week ago, he dismissed the rumors that LA, NY, and FLA were Panarin's preferences. So obviously we don't truly know if those locations are indeed his preferences or not. I'm not putting much money on them at this point. I'd say San Jose would be a great location for the guy. Playoffs in the last 13 of 14 seasons, great location on the ocean. I'm sure his gf could find modeling opportunities if he were to go to California.
