That is really tight remaining cap space even with the 23 skater in mind and I feel like Detroit wouldn't have a reason to go for that trade unless they planned on moving a veteran defenseman off the team, but then again maybe they would move Quincey. What about trying to move Fleury since they may be forced to protect him in an expansion draft next summer because he has a NMC and then they would almost certainly lose Matt Murray.

Very interesting trade purposesal. I'm actually a big fan of this. A young scoring winger and a B chip D prospect for an A chip D prospect. Detroit doesn't really have any A chip D prospects either. I would end up moving Kunitz though for more cap space. Nice job

I like Olofsson. Met him this winter. Pens need more depth D for sure and he is a solid mid level prospect. Maybe move Bennett for a piece like that too.

What about Nyqvist instead from Dertroit? I guess the Pens don't have cap space for that though, unless they do something wild like move Flower and pick up a higher end backup G.
