Well, I guess this is I told you so to many people that didn't think the Hawks would have to give up anything for the Hossa contract.....Vinnie was a good top 9 forward with good potential. Second on the team in points per 60 minutes (to Kane of course). This trade hurts....Hawks now need two top 9 forwards and still have to address the issues on defense or it's going to be a long season....or they could get lucky and Ejdsell and Kahun could be those guys but I think thats a long shot...personally I think this season might be punted. Maybe another high draft pick and hit the FA next offseason but we'll see.....

One HawksFan, gee I think his name was HawksFan at one time that Arizona was give the Hawks a first rounder for the privilege of increasing the Coyotes cap. Hope is available fo comment now.

AA may be a little overpaid but he is a more than serviceable middle 6 Wing/Center

I would be more than happy if that was the case. Just feels like it'll cost a lot more. And then the Hawks have another hole to fill if they trade AA. Too many holes and not enough assets right now for the Hawks
