Carolina is not going to take 2 cap dumps for Faulk since Lucic can not be flipped in a terrible for Minnesota deal, no way they want Lucic, and Carolina is a team that doesn’t like to spend to the cap so they are not going to buy out a player and pay him for year to not play for the team. They traded their young D to Calgary so they wouldn’t have to pay his $160000 cap hit for 2 years.

Need to stop the Faulk to Edmonton trades, It's already been reported that Faulk to Edmonton isn't happening Oiler insider Bob Stauffer pretty much said as such. Detroit is pretty much the front runner on Faulk it's been reported.
