I was hoping to start a dialogue here...not just get a bunch of one line responses. Offer up some analysis on these trades, please.

@MNBassman my rationale is that I want to get nino over to the left wing, and because of that, I think this team should trade Zucker for a Center or a right wing. I still like Columbus as a trade partner. If dumba gets you Nylander, then maybe move Zucker for a replacement D. If dumba for nylander doesn’t happen, then the Columbus trade should target wennberg and then Anderson or Savard depending on what other trades exist.

To be clear i would go after Wennberg in the absence of a center acquisition (like a Nylander quality...not sure if I put Nylander at center or wing) I am not comfortable with staal and koivu and JEE as the centers. I think that parise and koivu, both likely unmovable, can play together, although if parise is healthy, I'd put him up next to wennberg.

And if you get Wennberg, then I am comfortable moving koivu to mtl ( or whoever) and putting JEE at 3C. Wennberg Staal JEE would be pretty strong down the middle, with Coyle able to fill in for injuries.
