I have no idea what their prospect pool is like there, just based that trade off the Martin trade. Player for prospect so i just picked someone lol

Zykov is one of CAR fans hopes for cheap top 6 FW very hard to move player at this point after his latest contract. But they do have a lot of skilled winger depth sure they would swap 1 for Kassian. Harsh 1 star for player you didn't even put in your lineup imo

I doubt Stars want any part of trading Klingberg though, Also he is RD so pairs should be Nurse+Klingberg then Sekera+Larsson which imo leaves a spot for Russell on 3rd pairing which is fine for him

Personally I’d like to see Klefbom and a pick or prospect or both for Colton parayko, apparently oilers tried to get him, not sure what they offered up or if St. Louis is even interested in giving him up. Personally I think Klefbom is to soft and plays to scared.

Colton would be a huge add.. but cost too much now that the Oil have Bouchard coming in the next few years. So in the same light I think giving up that much for Kling is not a great move. The comment about Kbomb are out to lunch. His shoulder was grenaded before the season started and he still stuck in there unscared. He sucked.. but.. that's to be expected.

Stars say no. Klingberg is one of the only untouchables on this team

Nurse+Klingberg
XXXX+Bouchard

3 of 4 top 4 locked up for years or to come isnt so bad, Parayko would be great as well

Think Parayko is easier target since STL have 2 top RD, not easy target but would cost less then Klingberg

The Dallas trade makes no sense. Dallas is reportedly considering buying out Spezza's contract. Jason Spezza is a salary dump that is worse than the Lucic contract. So the Oilers would be giving up klefbom, Bear, Puljujarvi, and a first for Klingberg? Never happen.

Yes, and also freeing up 10 million in cap space. Getting back an elite offensive D man that's under 25 with a very good cap hit. Now Oilers will have cap space to trade/sign winger or wingers to play with Connor/Leon.

True enough, and Parayko is a local boy. Would be a great add.

Speeza dump isn't worst then Lucic.. its 1 year then done Lucic could be possible up to 5 years of pain depending how well he bounces back. Still think he can be 35pt guy for 2-3 years playing against lesser opponents from a 3rd line role, but thats expensive 35pts for a team to take on
